Sometimes, no matter how people comfort me when I feel down or angry, it doesn't really help.

Because most of the times, I am actually mad at myself for not doing good enough, for being able to make the situations better but didn't.

I think the way to cheer myself up is always to do better and care better.

Feeling good from the bottom of heart doesn't come from others' comforting words, but the action to change.

And change, is never easy.

Thus, happy becomes not that easy too when I screwed things up.

Every semester when it is time for subject enrolment, I will be struggling which subjects to take and which to forgo. Why is it so?

Interested subjects! Oh, boring lecturer.

Interested subjects! Oh, crappy timetable.

Easy-to-score subject! Never mind the boring lecturer, but oh, crappy timetable.

Good lecturer! Oh, what is that subject about?

Good lecturer! Gosh, seniors say it was super hard to score in that subject!

So basically it could not be:

Then how?

Compromise!

Dear readers and followers of my blog,

I am so sorry for abandoning this place for like, months? It was really a hectic period previous semester which left not much time for me to update you all. The simpler updates (by photos) can be found on FB, but I think I kinda became less active there as well. Oops.

Anyway, let me try to do a brief update here. (Bear in mind, everytime I said 'summary' in my blog, it turned out a long long post, again).
So yea, where to start? =P

My first semester of final year, which had ended in December, was a tough one for me. IO, a subject that has been known as a subject of luck, was as challenging as what I had heard.

Random assignment of group members wasn't a new concept in class, but the great deal of work and cooperation needed did shock me even at the proposal stage. Upon the first glance of the groups list, I gonna admit I was down. I only knew 3 people in a group of 14, and some with not so good 'reputation' in groupwork as warned by my friends.

Yet I was a little bit delighted when I knew more than half of the group were final semester students, which I assumed they will be more knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful.

Well, things did not seem to go the way I thought, a lot unexpected, good and bad. Spent a great deal of concentration, times and effort on this 300 pages project, and the marks are still acceptable.

Being friends with a lot of the members was one of the big gain I shall say. No doubt, this huge project makes me learned a lot, like really, a lot.

The 2 elective subjects I picked for the semester were good learning experiences, yet not easy to score. I love contemporary issues in psychology, apparently my friends all love it as well. Although we felt, and still feel dumb and unknowledgable in class always when Dr. Anasu told us about the world, the history, the things that we weren't aware deep inside us; I personally enjoyed it. I learned, at least.

The assignments marks for all the subjects were posted up these few days, and I was and am still not happy of it. Poor marks.

I think I took Year 3 subjects too lightly, or I diverted too much onto IO.

I stop at Year 2 standard, isn't it? Yes, I do.

Thesis oh thesis, you should have been the focus this holiday, but why you let other things override you so easily? Trips, outings, drama, and the more-than-enough sleep.

See now only few days left and new semester starts, and I should have your details, at least basic details, ready for my supervisor. You make me nervous and stressful in subtle ways that I know the symptoms are all because of you, thesis.

Work well with me, come, we will do a good job!

Alright, enough for studies, let's talk about some non-studies stuffs.

Worked for DH for a month, but left because it is just too far from my place. The pay couldn't cover the transport fees although the work is what I enjoy, with kids.

Joined annual ball committee this year, but I know I didn't contribute much. Sorry for the low commitment. The ball was the first ever ball night I had been to. It was a great experience, with the heavy make-up and hairdo, and photos with poses.

Frankly, the expenses for the ball were freaky, and yea, wouldn't go for this year's. I shall save for trip!

Anyway, mommy is the one who is paying for everything for me, so I should thank her for a pretty night, and start saving money for her. =)

Celebrated Christmas in Singapore. Thank you Mei's aunt and family for being such a friendly and helpful host. We each had a bed, a pillow and a blanket! That was even better than hotel like seriously.

Failed to visit zoo due to the rains, but went to museum unplanned. Christmas at Orchard was crazy and crowded, but the lights are beautiful! Went for drink at Clarke Quay but I don't find it fun to club. Not worth the time and MONEY. Damn expensive. Well, take an experience.

Visited Sentosa and its casino! Wheeee, finally we are 21 and eligible to walk into the casino. Another disappointment because the casino wasn't some fun or exciting place. It was pretty quiet, and I felt the stress without reasons. Stopped by each type of games but I only managed to understand 2 types! So we left after looking around.

Supper every night in Singapore, slept after 2am every night. Gosh, my routines were so messed up but for trip, never mind.

For the first time I felt so reluctant to go home after trip! I know the reason, just because of thesis. The days after the trip were so unproductive and direction-less. No motivation no mood no energy for thesis. Till now.

Oh ya, stayed overnight at Bei's house with Ai! That was like our annual activity. Haha. Everyone spilled their stories and gave comments and advices to each other. And squeezed in a bed in Bei's like-always-at-night room. No sunlight can crawl in, no rain and car sound can be heard, and the aircond makes it so nice to sleep. No zeitgeber. So we slept till noon and went for lunch with Kelly at 2pm. I think Bei's room will be a great getaway choice if I am stressed next time. Haha.

I chose not to end my 2011 counting down with the mass crowd and foam and sprays. After the steamboat dinner with friends, me and Kelly went for a yumcha session near my house. Literally our last night of 2011 ended with, talking. Haha. Not bad not bad, I prefer this serenity. Well, that shop provided us each a mini party popper for countdown. Simple stuffs can be good too. =)

2012 is here, before I'm ready to do a reflection for 2011, to clean and clear my stuffs, to welcome a new year with joy and love. Seriously until today, I do not think I am well prepared to face the challenges for 2012.

Aha, you may ask, why only challenges? True, 2012 can be another fun and memorable year, but my mind is still conveying this message to me:

2012 will be a tough year, you have to be ready to hit down by anyone anytime anywhere. Beware.

I know where it comes from, again is mainly because of the thesis, in addition with the disappointing assignments marks.

What else made me so afraid of 2012? A lot. But in short, I am afraid of changes. There will be changes in 2012, I am sure.

During the girls' night at Bei's house, I sighed and told them I am not as happy and as wonderful living with great friends and family, as they saw through FB. I have great friends and family, no doubt. But I never feel I had enough.

I want better, but what did I work to gain? I know I need to adjust my mindset. I know I need to adjust my life back on track.

I miss the times I am happy even for a simple thing, like a short meet up with old friend. I miss the times I am happy for doing things for others, but not merely focus on myself. I miss the times I thought I had it - the balance, thing that I always wanted to achieve.

Sorry friends who were checking out my blog and asking me to update it soon. Here comes my update, and it sounds like a depressed one. Don't worry about me, I will be tough. Things aren't too bad, is my mind gets blue lately. I will repaint it to bright red, for the passion to move on, and for CNY! Muahaha! Gong Hei Fatt Choi!

I feel bored, and I feel like blogging.
So, here's the half-told story I owed you that night.
A short story, with question.

When the girl and the boy first being together, the girl had an ideal girlfriend image in mind and tried her best to adhere to it. She suppressed her (bad) emotions most of the times, showed toleration and care. She did not put her jealousy into words or actions, letting the boyfriend to do whatever he wanted to do, go wherever he wanted with whoever; she said she doesn't care, as long as the guy is happy. If given a hypothetical situation or question, she will choose to let go the boyfriend if he chose to. She never wanted to fight, never wanted to angry, never wanted to jealous, and never liked forever. For that deep in her mind, a good girlfriend should not have temper, bad temper. Relationship would not last if she is not an ideal girlfriend, because he loves girlfriend like this.

She doubted a lot, getting him on nerves. He feels she is still living in her circle with walls around, and he could not get in. He asked her to lower down her guard, let him in, let him see the true her. She didn't like to love with no guard, she worried she would get hurt thoroughly. Nevertheless the boyfriend encouraged her, convinced her with lots of reasons, good ones. Eventually she reveals more and more, emotions and temper, which she tried to hide all the while. Jealousy, anger, and cold war. She hides no more.

Once a while now, he will sigh and grumble in joke, where gone the lovely caring girlfriend? No more angelic, when devil shows her true side. The girlfriend held her breathe for once, and thought: She should guard up and hide those non-ideal sides again. He doesn't like the true sides, he prefers the ideal sides deep in his heart. She knows that.

So here comes the dilemma:
Should the girlfriend fenced up her bad sides and let the relationship lasts with fantasy?
Or she should just be true to him and let him decide whether he loves this imperfect her?

Oh my opinion?
I think she can try to change her bad sides and improve on good sides.
Brilliant me.
But wait!
It is always easier to say, harder to do.

I'm back!

It has been a month since I last update my blog!
Yea, I was really busy.
Here I come with my (long) summary again.

Famine fever is still burning after the event. We headed to Malacca in 4 cars to eat, eat, and eat! A big bunch of people with a few DSLRs walking around having fun. There was a gathering organized by the campers to farewell with one of our our emcees, Kenzo, who is leaving to China for his study soon. I missed that!
Not going to miss the celebration dinner at Daidomon on the first week of September! =)

Went Qingdao to visit brother as well as for family trip. Stayed in Guangzhou for a few days too. Not really used to the Mandarin there, having a hard time talking to the taxi drivers especially.
Oh ya, crossing roads there is terrifying! The roads are really big and wide, and you are not going to get to the opposite side safely by only following the traffic lights! Mommy and I were always very nervous when we need to cross the roads. Haha.
Well, other than that, Qingdao has good weather, good air quality, blue sky which can even be seen at night, and lighter taste of beer.
Anyhow I still cannot accept the taste of beer despite TsingTao Beer is well known for it's purer taste.
Another thing in Qingdao which made me feel healthy there is that they have no night life. All the shops mainly closed at around 9pm, latest by 10.30pm for those in malls. So we had our dinner earlier, went home earlier, and sleep earlier too when nothing to do.
Yet the routines get back to normal once I'm back to Malaysia...

Guangzhou is different from Qingdao. It is more like another KL to us. Nightlife there can be traced along the streets with bars and clubs. Traffic there resembles KL's as well, but KL could be worse. Food is not as tasty as Malaysia's, for we prefer heavier taste maybe.
The impressive thing in Guangzhou is their night view. There are colourful lights brighten up the night, on the buildings, ships, riverside, and even trees. That's when I was frustrated with my my phone camera because it cannot capture the best night view. Haha.
Overall the trip to China was not bad, just that I feel a little of culture shock, and really tired of walking. Yea, China people walk a lot, and their roads are big.
Poor legs, I think I get slimmer. Teehee!

For the first time I think I am stupid to bring extra clothes to trip. I brought 13 sets of clothes for a 10-day trip. So the second day we are back, me and mommy washed the clothes together using 3 big basins. Killing! Luckily the sun is hot these days to dry all the clothes.
Start giving out the souvenirs to friends. Hope they like it although there is nothing special. Haha.

Back to college for a meeting with the new Janda Baik committee 2 days ago, glad to see that they are motivated and capable too.
All the best to them!
Went to Xiutao's house with Xing and JiunnHeng after the meeting, and we had a small BBQ gathering with the others as well.
First attempt to Pictionary, I shall say it is super duper fun! I failed arts, especially using left hand. Haha. A lot of jokes stemmed from the drawings and guessing, some are really epic. We had great laugh till we forgot we were supposed to play tanglung that night.
So after the guys left for they have class the other morning, we stayed back for the candles and tanglung. =)

Watched a few movies at home, looking for more to watch now.
Need to clean my room before class started, but I guess I will procrastinate and drag it to the very last minute.
Need to consider what subjects to be taken in the new semester as well, giving me headache, like when I chose my thesis preferences 2 weeks ago.
Going into Year 3, my final year in my degree, is exciting yet a lot more nervous. Good luck to me!

Summary of July.

July is coming to the end.
Tracking back my blog, all my posts this month had never talk about my life, my routines.
Only flooded with feelings and thoughts, positive and negative ones.
So, I decided to have a summary for what I have done so far in my July, a busy hectic month with both laughter and tears.

The first week of July was my study break for my short semester's final exams. Yet I spent it more like my semester break.
Went out almost every other day with my Serdang jimuis. Yumcha, movie, chit-chat, and of course, trip.
We went Malacca on the first Sunday of July, decided to on quite last minute, but it was a great trip. If there were more of us, I am sure it will revive our memories like the annual trip we used to have.
We were teenagers and now we are adults, yet we tend to enjoy life in a way that we're still kids. People might see us silly, we see it as fun, the fun we lost eventually when growing up. Perhaps that's not too bad, we can play like kids at times, and study or work hard like adults as expected. =)

On Han-Ming's birthday eve, we asked him out for a drink. He recommended us KEG, a bistro in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Me, Hei, Mei, and Xing were redeeming our online coupons at Vintage Bar before that, but the food was rather disappointing despite good feedback from friends. We then met YeeThong, bought a cake, and headed to the bistro. Jeng and ChengFei joined us too. We played game, had some finger food, drink, and never missed out our photos taking session. Around 12am, the waitress brought out the cake and we sang Ming birthday song. As usual, birthday boy was requested to bite the deep rooted candles out from the creamy cake. Hehe.
Without noticing, Ming had already settled the bill for the night. We had a great night, hopefully he did too.
You're 21 as us already Ming, be wiser and nevertheless enjoy life! =)

I had my finals on the second week of July, gonna admit that I really felt defeated this time. One of the papers was tougher than expected, gave no chance of even guessing the logic answers. Praying hard the results won't be that bad, I don't like it to ruin my CGPA. Sigh.

After finals end, my happening life resumed. Haha. Went out a lot, spent a lot, but honestly, the people I meeting with are only that few. My mommy had no idea why we won't get bored seeing each other so frequent. So does my boyfriend I guess. Haha. In fact, we also talked about this among ourselves, we were doubting are we not meeting anymore the next 10 years. So we are meeting each other every other day like we will never meet again? Haha.
Well, I have started to reduce it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work, as I have many other friends, like my 30-hour Famine team. Hehe.

Oh, I had dinner with Qi and Bei finally! Had a long chat, with surprises here and there. Scheduled a time to Skype along with Ai, and we updated her as well. It has been so long since four of us had chat together, kinda miss those staying overnight times.
Compared to other old friends, I will think being with three of them has undergone least changes. We were always talking about life and future and personal thoughts, and still now we do. We were not kids since we knew each other, I feel.
Anyway, I am looking forward to meet Ai this December. Of course, will meet Qi more often too before she fly again. =)

This Monday, I went Kalamazoo Cafe at Aman Suria to redeem another online deal I bought with friends while rushing assignments. Hehe. Six of us had a really satisfying lunch, with appetizer, side dishes, main course, drinks and dessert. The most worthy deal I had bought so far. The food was not the most delicious but still I think it's acceptable. We were talking about our holidays, and our thesis choices. Seem like everyone is headache now to pick their preferences. Good luck everyone, I need some time to make my choices too. =)

Wait, I made my July sounds so unproductive. Play and eat.
Actually I am going back college almost half of each week now to prepare for 30-hour Famine stuffs. We already had our mock training day and volunteers training day the previous Saturdays. Kinda tiring but definitely fun! Will need to strive for the best for the real event day!
Going back tomorrow again, all the best my teammates! =)

What's with August?
30-hour Famine and some post-event celebrations and trip.
Visiting China middle of the month, the place my brother is working now.
Finalized choices for my thesis preferences, really a big deal, need considerable time to decide.

I've missed a lot to write in blog, but when it had been long over, the feeling is just not there anymore.
So summary:

1) Janda Baik trip was awesome! Had different role, different experiences, different memories from previous visit. Fulfilling trip. Well done everyone! =)

2) Went out 3 days back-to-back few weekends ago, with Hei, Mei and Bie. Tiring yet fun, you know when the crazy people like us get along, laughter is everywhere. What a bunch of cute guy and friendly girls! *wink*

3) Sometimes it feels special when someone talk over their life, their happiness or troubles, with you. When you get to know your friend a little deeper, and feeling glad that at least you helped for lending him/her your ears, nevertheless because he/she can count on you. You will just wish, from the bottom of your heart, he/she can be happy. Yeah, and I'm happy. =)

4) On similar note, it feels sucks too when you believed you disappointed someone. For not being responsible, not being sensitive, not being understanding, not being the one they expected you to be. And what really sucks is that you felt down and blamed yourself, but did not make it up or change it.

5) Short semester had just passed half, because midterm tests end. Please let me have decent grades! I already tried my best to finish the chapters, even though I am again very last minute. Teehee!

6) ACT campaign and 30hour Famine, current events I am involved. Will be dedicated to do my best, as I think I will cut down involvement in events when thesis is overwhelming me in my Year 3. Jiayou!

7) What do you do when you feel losing control of yourself? I am thinking to gain back control. By what way? I have no idea.

Life's good?
Despite not perfect, but definitely a yes. =)

Ahhhhhh, it's really going to end!
Gonna welcome my hectic short semester very soon.
Enrolled for the two core subjects, and one out-of-no-choice elective.
Still considering whether to take a subject that I have no interest in or to postpone it to my extended semester. Dilemma!
Timetable of this semester? Not a good one.
Lecturers of this semester? I heard they are potential hypnotists.
Anyway, I still wish my last semester of year two goes well.
For sure will be busy, hope it's fulfilling! =)

Janda Baik trip is just around the corner but we still have a lot of things to settle! Our president is having panic attack soon she said. Haha. We must get things done by Thursday. Argh, time constraint!
Dear facilitators, I sincerely wish you all are preparing well for the trip, so the committee can have less worries. Haha. I will enjoy and do my best for the trip this time! =)

Last Sunday was Mothers' Day, but we didn't have any celebration or dinner for mommy. I wanted to treat mommy dinner when we were dining at Fullhouse but she rejected. She said when I run out of money to spend she gonna give me, so after all is her money. Sigh, I have been spending mommy's money since stop giving tuition. Kinda guilty. Didn't get her any present for Mothers' Day yet she gave me one, a pricey one.
I only can say, thank you mommy!
You are really pampering me till I feel guilty sometimes.

Will be hectic, hopefully will be fun as well. Haha.

It's Ho Mimi's 21st birthday! It fall on the day I handed in my last assignment of the semester, so I could make time to go for her surprise party at her house. Again, was planned by her loving boyfriend. It was the second surprise thingy I had attend so far that Yu Szen planned for Meimei, he seriously did a good job. =)

So her CHS friends, Saujana friends and Monash friends had been invited and waited her for an hour at her house while she was having dinner with Yu Szen and some other friends. We blew balloons and get ready for her to be back. Finally she's back and really surprised by us. Haha. She hugged and thanked everyone of us, then ushered us to eat! We were all hungry but no one dare to start first. Funny. Haha. After meal was the cake session, and her sister prepared special ordered cupcakes with all the doctor's equipment and tools as decorations, really cute! We didn't feel like eating such cute cupcakes but we still did. Haha. After some photos taken then we headed back home. Oh, we bought her chocolate and hairband, she seemed to like it, that's good. Hehe.

Here's where I gonna look up to Yu Szen, I'm not a good surprise planner. Haha! So after Hei had gave me a surprise birthday dinner, I planned to give her one in return. However, I was busy with assignments and everyone else seem to be busy too. It was really not easy to contact each and everyone, finding the best date and time and place, without letting her know a single thing. Haha. After a lot of cancellation and modification, finally I just decided to let her know she will be having a dinner with friends, but not telling her who will be coming. It's lame I know, because she can guess well. Haha.

The dinner was at Frontera, a Mexican restaurant in Jaya One. The ambiance was not bad but it's kinda hot inside. The food was in big portion, mainly with baked cheese and meat so we were all full. The starter was neglected thus we packed it home. Haha. The magician, Andrew, came to our table to perform some magic show and gave Hei the bent fork as her present. Haha. We took quite long to settle the bill, before headed to Piccadilly for drinks.

I was first been to Piccadilly and surprised by the cheaper than expected price of food and drinks there. Haha. They had a tower of Carlsberg and I had my honey lemon. Just couldn't stand the bitter taste of beer, gave up after one sip. Haha. There we share jokes and ghost stories, absolutely great time. We were laughing till face cramp and the next moment we were freaked out by the ghost stories. Haha. The night ended around 12am. I think Hei was enjoyed so I'm glad.

Time to redeem our coupons for ChillOut deal! I booked a table of four for dinner and we met at the restaurant around 7.30pm. It's a bistro at the corner of Subang Parade, nice ambiance but the food and beverages, especially alcoholic drinks are pricy. Our deals included a mushroom soup, an iced lemon tea and a main course each. The soup was delicious! Hehe. We had our great time there thanks to the two jokers Ming and Bie. Haha. Then we shift to ChaTime, a new opening bubble tea shop at SS15, to continue our laughing time. Never know the two guys can create so many funny topics. Really unexpected. Haha. One word for that night will be LAUGH. Had a great night! =)

Oh, I went OUG pasar malam with Hei and Mei, that was a good night too! Too bad Qiqi dated me the same night so I couldn't meet her this time she came back. Sorry! Yet I received a call from her before she flew back to UK again, and I'm truly surprised, you know why. Hehe.

Visited Malacca again but this time is different, because we never visit all those historical places but only EAT. Yes, we eat throughout the trip, all the delicious food recommended by our Malacca friend! =)
The moment jumping at Klebang beach was awesome! I don't know I can be so hyperactive as they described, even mommy said I'm a good jumper when looked at my photos. Haha. I was really enjoyed, so that's it. Hehe.
Tiring but satisfying one day trip! =)

Sepang Goldcoast trip was cancelled because we're too tired. Yet we still went Sunway Pyramid to shop and watch movie. Thor is not bad, I feel it's similar to Tron in some ways. Haha. Had our dinner before home. =)

I decided to leave some for next time, as I'm tired already.
I think only Meimei's surprise birthday party last night that I haven't blog about, besides the one I'm going to write now.
Yea, April is like a birthday month!
There're a lot of April babies among my friends. =)

Last weekend, the 9th of April, was Yau's graduation!
Always a big thing for me when I heard of graduation. And he graduated so fast! While I'm still in my second year second semester...
So, he invited me last month but I did not promise him to attend his graduation. So weird to go by myself isn't it? Although I so wanted to see my sai lou in robe, like a kid finally grown up, how touched. Haha. When he invited me again last week, I thought about it again and decided to go, at least for a while, to congratulate him.
Like I said, graduation is a big thing I feel.

The night before his graduation, he asked me to invite Hei along so I would not need to go alone. So two of her good kar jie went Sunway Pyramid to walk and buy him bear bear, ate Hot and Roll, shopped a while, before he finally called and said his ceremony ended. Hence, both of us walked over to convention centre to look for him.
When we saw him, he was having a few bunch of flowers with him. Like some superstars. In fact, everyone there were the same. Haha. He has no hand for us when we handed him our bear bear. We need to carry some flowers for him some more. Haha.
Met Shumin finally! Pretty and sweet girl, lucky you lar sai lou! *wink*

As both of us have no camera, Yau asked his friend to take a photo for us with him in robe. Haven't seen the photo yet, not sure who's having it. Then he had to see his lecturer so we left. Really a short while we been there. We headed to SS15 for lunch before go home.

Basically, she had blogged about it and I feel excessive to write again. But still I want to write about it as it's for her birthday!
Yea, she is Wong Jyh Ling. Teehee! =)

It was a Tuesday and I had to carry my research assistant work in SS2, one of the tadika there. The kids were so active and distracted that day, not easy to get things in control. Really tiring. Anyhow, I had a date with GLing after that at Redbox. Singing is always my thing, so no matter how tiring I would have energy for it. Haha.

Reached Midvalley around 1.30pm and she was still home, so I walked around looking for light food. Grabbed a chicken puff and ate outside Redbox while waiting for GLing. Then she appeared when I was eating halfway. Haha. After we asked about the vouchers I have, we decided to use student price instead, but afterward we realized we had made a wrong deal. Aikz. A lot old songs you know wei Gling! Remind me of my childhood. Haha. The echo was not good, indeed too strong, dislike dislike! Anyway, still worth it as we sang from 2pm to 7pm! =)

Next, we decided to eat at Manhattan Fish Market due to the promotion. Fish and Chips for RM6.99! Big portion, too full for me that night. But now it has another student promotion thingy on! Tempting! Haha. Back to topic, we ordered two sets of it and while waiting for the meals, we had a little birthday celebration session for her belated birthday. A mini cake we bought on the way just now, with the candles and Happy Birthday thingy I bought a day before. Hehe. Took some photos and finished the cake. Not tasted as good as the one for my birthday, but kinda special. Cheaper though perhaps. Haha. Gave her the present when we got into car, and I didn't let her open on spot. I worried she won't like it. But she said she love it after she opened it at home. Phew, relief! Haha.

Sent her home and realized I forgot how to go out to highway. Just try my luck and drove to the way I feel more familiar, and tada, I found the way! Kinda easy, shall not forget next time. Haha. Oh, thank you dear for the directions, but you only replied after I got onto highway. Still thank you lar k! =)

Happy 20th Birthday again girl! Hope you like the present, the card and the song! Hehe. I was invited to your surprise dinner at TGIF the next day but I really could not spare out another day already, was rushing my assignment. Glad to see you enjoyed and had a loved birthday this year. Big girl already, starts with 2 already, it's time to grow up but never mind, keep enjoy playing and enjoy life! Never too old yet! =)

Earth Hour 2011

Recalled last year Earth Hour, I was with Hei, Ming and Jeng, just finished dinner at I Love You Shabu-shabu, then we went Ming's house there to watch night view. This year without Jeng, three of us met up at Puchong again. Ming suggested for movie and so we went IOI mall to get our tickets before dinner. No more nice seats for Battle: Los Angeles, so we watched The Adjustment Bureau at last.

After got our tickets, we headed to Little Pantry to have our dinner. It is like a fusion of Fullhouse and Gardens Cafe, just with slightly more pink. Better food choice I think, but the prices are a little too expensive for us. We still ordered a lot and surprised by the bill later. Haha. The food was okay, but the desserts are awesome! At least I think it's something that I love, delightful (and fattening) desserts. Hehe. I remember we had a bill of RM120, which each of us paid RM40. Haha.
Oh, we were having dinner during Earth Hour, but the restaurant did not really off all unnecessary lights, only make it dimmer. They could have off more seriously, because there're candles all over in the restaurants. Not a good effort. Sigh!

So next we rushed to cinema on the top floor for the movie. IOI mall's lift is freaking slow, as always. We're a little late for the movie but did not miss much I guess. Luckily that cinema was not cold, did not bring jacket. The movie was not bad, it wanted to bring out some kind of lesson I think. Fight for what you want and what you believed to be true, do not just leave it to fate. But what three of us basically talked about whole night later are that: 'Don't turn left, turn right when open the door' and 'See, he/she wearing hat, work for them de, be aware!'. Haha. If you watched that movie, you should know what's happening.

Ming dropped us near Bistro 32 to get my car, but somehow ended up having a drink there. Finally I had been to the bistro Ming always recommend us. Haha. They knew I don't like noisy pub environment, so we moved downstairs to chit chat. They had beer and tequilla while I had mocha. Haha. Just not an alcoholic person sorry. Still don't prefer it. Hehe. We sat until 1am and headed home separately.

Sometimes I really wonder, why three persons who do not always meet and share personal life with each other, can be so happy chit-chatting when meet up once a while? Couldn't find the reasons yet, but I appreciate it. This kind of bond, this kind of special formation of friendships. =)

Wonder if we will celebrate Earth Hour together again next year? =)

Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2011!
It was really a random outing plan of mine, but somehow it turned out success and fun! The fiesta was held for 3 days at Putrajaya and I only got to know about it on the second day after seeing people posting up photos on FB. So on Sunday morning (last day), I just searched online about the event and decided to go. Sadly, I could not think of anyone whom I can ask at first. I really wish you're here, because I know you will surely go with me if I ask. Well, I then texted Hei, hoping that she had no other plan. Surprisingly, she was free and wanted to go too, and no need to go back Setapak at night. I was so excited! Then we asked Bie and Didi. Initially Bie agreed to go together, but later when it rained, he changed his mind. Didi who was not home yet had make it at last because of the rain too, as I delayed going out to fetch Hei. He said he wanted to go every year but no one invite him, so, eherm, you should thank me Di! Haha. So end up three of us headed to Putrajaya for the fiesta! =)

After searching and simply following buses, we finally found the place, a nice place with all the ministry buildings. So not like Malaysia style. Then we found a small place for my little car to park, hoping that it wouldn't get scratched, luckily it didn't too. Haha. Hei wanted to search for the counter where we can queue and get the tickets for hot air balloon ride, but couldn't spot it. Well, we did not see any visitors riding on hot air balloon at the end too. Hei said next year we must go earlier to get the tickets. And Didi said he wanted to get a DSLR so he can enter the restricted area. Well, I only wish that I could have more friends to go with me and enjoy! =)

We walked around and finally saw the hot air balloons get heated and flying up one by one. Really awesome! Big big balloon with mini people inside, fly across the bridge, the lake and the field. Seriously, it looks fun and romantic too! Hehe. Didi managed to capture a few nice photos of us with the balloons and nice scenery. I'm so sorry Di that we are not as pro as you, so your photos are not that nice as ours. Oops. Haha. I go learn and take for you next year! XD

After the hot air balloons landed in some other place which we cannot see, we walked around and took pictures of ourselves. Haha. Met lenglui! But got a not-so-lengzai boyfriend already. Don't sad Di! Hehe. We saw a big patch of lime green grass! So there goes our photo session, and thus each of our profile pictures now. Haha. The sky getting darker so we planned to go take dinner before home. But I was so hungry hence we bought a packet of Darabif fries to eat in car. We only tasted a few of it then Hei accidentally spilled the fries when passing it to Didi. Haha. Poor car, the curry powder was all over and till now I only wiped it and haven't vacuum it. Haha.

Then we had our dinner at Asia One Cafe in Puteri, Puchong. We had tong shui at Poon Kee before end our day. Tiring yet fun. And the biggest gain of the day are the beautiful photos! Thank you Didi and his Sony camera! =)

If there's such thing, I had one day major depression episode yesterday.
I'm lucky because the totally ILL feeling only lasted for one day.
I always know what's the trigger, but still not able to find the way to suppress it.
Well, suppression wouldn't be the ideal solution, but unless I change my mindset, otherwise I will still be trapped.

Thank you for keep reminding me that I always think too much;
that I care too much; that I take on too much;
that I'm too used to compare to the better ones.
I don't know when will the reminders take permanent effect, yet I'm still grateful that you're still bearing with me.

I need a rest, always do, but not now.
Conquer everything I had taken on now, and I will take a break.

A week after my birthday, I had this big surprise dinner!
It was really unexpected, and I was so so surprised.
Had a happy day! =)
So here's how it went:

March 12th, 2011

I knew I was going to have a small birthday celebration dinner with a few of us from Serdang. Hei kept apologized to me as she said she only managed to ask Serdang gang to go, because we have limited friends.
I truly understand and I was glad enough to have them remembering my birthday. So the dinner was set at Sunway Pyramid Bubba Gump, at 7.30pm.

As I had the urge to go shopping, I asked Didi to go early with me because he was following my car. Hei wanted to come along, so around 4pm, we went Sunway Pyramid. Me and Hei bought T-shirts from Brands Outlet, 3 for RM50 as usual. I bought a dress and a blouse after the second visit to the shop again. Finally decided to waste my money. Haha. Didi was looking for his fancy prom suit too, but did not buy at last. Before dinner time, me and Didi had San Francisco Extreme Mocha for the buy 1 free 1 promotion. Hei had her cheese and ham Hot 'N Roll too. Didi said the Mocha will be my present, so I had it for free. Hehe.

Around 7pm, Bie and U-Phun came and walked with us for a while before dinner. They were finding excuse to cover up why U-Phun was there as I was not told about his attendance that night. Haha. Well, I was not suspicious about them because I thought U-Phun had an outing with Bie so they came along. Haha. Then we went to meet Utan at the main entrance before going dinner together.

While I was turning left to Bubba Gump, Hei turned right to another restaurant named Frames. She said we don't eat at Bubba Gump, need to change place. I was a little blur so just followed her. When we reached the door, I was so shocked to see so many familiar faces inside, all sitting at a long table. Freezed for a second, speechless, just feel like crying. Yea, perhaps that's what so called surprised. Haha. Then I went in and sat in the middle, still a little nervous. Trying to talk to each and everyone, wanted to know what was behind the plan. Haha.
Hei told me that: 'See, actually you got a lot friends!'. I really knew it now. The dinner was like a CHS gathering, from my different gang of friends. It was really awesome! =)

Before I proceed, allow me to list out the people in the dinner as an appreciation: Hei, Didi, Utan, Bie, Cheng Fei, U-Phun, Fei, Hua Chern, Jung Hao, Mei Mei, Yu Szen, Wai Yee, Jett Kyii, Kelly, Yau, Ming, Jeng, and Jvn Yi. Can you imagine that 19 of us occupying the whole corner side? =)

Then they presented their presents to me one by one. First of all, Cheng Fei gave a me a rose once he reached, real rose! That was my first rose ever received in my life, so touched. And I never know how to take care of it, so I just put in into a bottle filled with some water. It's still surviving at my living room now, miracle. I thought it would wither in 2 days time, but it did not. Amazing.
Next, Kelly them gave a really thick dessert recipe book! It's something like my stats textbook size. But there are a lot of mouth-watering desserts pictures inside, of course with the recipe too. I was told that the purpose they gave me this as present is to let me make desserts for them! Haha. How thoughtful of them right? I shall attempt some easier ones when I'm free. If they don't mind to be white rats. Haha.
Then Serdang gang bought me a white gold key-shaped pendant, and made me changed it on the spot. I had a key pendant from them before at my 18, and now I got a better one for my 21. Haha.
Lastly, Yau gave me his present but requested me to open when I got home. It is a dolphin ornament with light. Mommy says it's beautiful. =)

I did not order food as I was so full due to the Mocha and also too surprised I guess. Ate a little from Hei's and Kelly's plate. Haha. During the dinner, I tried to talk to each of them so no one will be left out. I think they had their own good times too, so I was happy as well. Hehe. Then I walked around to take pictures with them. Thanks for Kelly's DSLR again, always our camera provider! XD

Next come the celebration part. We sang birthday song twice, once for me, another for Jeng without his notice. It was Jeng's birthday the next day so we decided to celebrate together. So we both made wishes, blow candles and cut cake. I made the same wishes as I did when GLing celebrated for me. Haha. So I hope they all come true! =)

After the dinner, Hei, Didi and me went to the new branch of Snowflakes at Kuchai Lama. Still crowded with people although it's more spacious than SS15 one. We shared a Snowflakes Bestseller because we were quite full. Took some photos before we headed home. =)

It was really a great surprise dinner.
It was something special I ever had for my birthday.
If you know me, I always have been diminishing the specialty or importance of 21st birthday. Yet now I feel that you all made my 21st birthday really a precious and memorable one.

And special thank you to the main organizer, Hei!
I bet you had been calling and texting all day because of the dinner.

So basically after PSY220 finals paper, my course mates and I went to Da Zui Ba for cheung K session. Before that we had our lunch at a Pan Mee shop named Spice and Chill Noodle House, nice nice! Then my friends bought me and Weekiat a piece of cake each, for our birthday. I know it's hard to find bakery at that area, so I'm really grateful to have that Blueberry Cheesecake from you girls. Thank you! Also, thanks for the birthday song! I'm sorry because I didn't know how to react because I seldom have this kind of celebration. Just wanna let you girls know I'm sincerely thankful for what I had that day! =)

GLing called me for meet up when I was almost home from college. Yet I was thinking she will be back to Malacca again if I not going to meet her, so we met at Jaya One around 6.30pm. With Gabriel along. Haha. We dined in at KimchiHaru, a Korean restaurant, which is cosy and neat. The price of items there was reasonable for a Korean restaurant I think, furthermore it had promotion. So I had Bibimbap! =)

GLing and Gabriel gave me a present each with a card along! I just read the card today and I laughed, thank you Lenglui and Lengzai! Haha! Thanks for the bag and also the doll! Thank you! =)

After dinner, I have got this simple and warm celebration session with them. They bought me a super duper very cute cake! Seriously very cute! I wanted to visit that shop to look for other mini cakes! Haha.
So they sang birthday songs (softly) for me, I made 3 wishes, blew candles, and cut the cake with fork. Haha. The cheesecake was delicious even it's so mini, just right. =)

Chit-chat with them for about one hour more there. Had a good chat! And proud that the situation didn't get cold at all. Haha.
Headed home at around 8.30pm.

Spent about an hour replying wishes in Facebook today, thank you everyone! Was told that next week I'm going to meet Heihei them for a belated celebration, looking forward to it as I have not meet them for some times already! Will definitely reserve that day for you all, no worries! =)

Had a busy week. Rushing assignments till early morning, trying to make something special for birthday present, outings, sending brother off to China again, and finally a getaway to Kuantan! =)

Assignments and presentations made me deprived from long hours sleep for few days. Firstly because I did it last minute, secondly I have devoted much time on outings.
No regrets, as all the outings worth my time but will not attempt last minute works again.
Seriously, lack of sleep is torturing for me. Haha. Assignments are temporary done, yet midterms are coming up next.
Best of luck to me again! Haha.

Brother flew to China again, continues his work there. Seeing him carrying his hand luggage and disappeared from sight into the departure again, the sadness was not that strong as the first time, yet still feeling weird inside somehow.
Xing was in airport too waiting for her delayed flight, so at least I was able to meet her once again before she went Russia. She was flying with a few friends and this was her third time leaving, so I guess it was not that heavy feeling for her.
For a moment I started to dislike airport, I used to love this place. However, airport primed me with sadness and separations now. In one week time, I guess I am gonna face another separation, with tears.
I miss you!

Thursday was Hon's birthday, his 21st birthday. Thanks Louis for helping to plan the dinner and thus there were many friends celebrating with Hon. Made some little cards overnight for him and hope he likes it. Hehe. Had a full meal at Bubba Gump in Curve, then the guys headed for drinking session afterward. Hope my dear had a great 21st birthday! =)

Had lunch at Mines which is now Capital Retail I guess, with mommy and brother. There's a list of things I wanna buy, and brother just need some shirts and pants for new year. Urged by mommy, I've got all my listed things except belt. The things I was looking for did not really suit my preferences but still acceptable, some were overpriced I think, but mommy repeated: 'If you keep thinking you will get better one, you forever won't get to buy what you want! Just buy this!'.
Yea, that's how I manage to shop a lot today. Haha.

Brother bought 2 shirts, but didn't get any nice pants. I wanted to buy a watch, but mommy asked me to pick 2 with different style, so I got options when matching with different clothes.
Ended up I bought 3 watches, because buy 2 free 1, and brother had another one too. I got 3 watches suddenly, amazing! Haha.
Purchased my face and body lotion at H2O+ as usual, and the receipt only worth to exchange for angpao packets. Haha.

Then I told mommy I found a crack on my sunglasses, but it's not noticeable. Mommy then bought me another pair of it, reddish one this time. Haha. Then I saw some colourful rings, knitted by something like bamboo or rattan. Bought a pink one. Hehe. Mommy saw a blue bag, kind of trendy and nice. Yet I saw another brown handbag, looks nicer although it is not as spacious, but still well-designed. Mommy agreed with that so she bought me the latter one. Mommy asked me to bring that for college use, I feel so wasted. Perhaps I will look for another one for school, like the one I saw in Time Square before. Hehe.

When we were home, I suddenly remember, I had a white bag similar to the blue one we saw just now. Mommy bought me that as well, but she cannot remember. Haha. Luckily I picked the brown one, if not I would have 2 similar bags now. Thanks my beloved mommy anyway! =)

Had tongshui at SweetChat before going home, because we had a RM10 voucher for it. I had tongyun in soy milk, nice nice! =)

New semester has started, so far I've attended 3 lectures, with 2 new lecturers. I have a funny lecturer this semester, hopefully can get the elective paper he is teaching too! Haha.
Tomorrow and Friday gonna be the tough ones.
Biopsychology with our gorgeous Dr. Hera and Advanced Quantitative Methods with our beloved and be-feared Miss Winnee!
Heavy subjects, memorization and calculation plus experiment.
Ahhhhhh, I have to be prepared!
Both are 8am classes should be a good or bad thing?

Ended my semester break with Singapore trip, a rainy trip. Had good times there but not yet the best. Regret didn't buy much things!
Bugis Street, the place where they shopped a lot, and I resisted a lot. Haha. No one brought camera, luckily Hon took quite a lot of photos with his iphone. Surprisingly we got few hundreds of photos, thanks a lot to my photographer baby! =)
The night we're back, me, Hei and Hon went Puchong to meet Ming for dinner. Bak Kut Teh and Poon Kee Tongshui! Haha. And we gave him our souvenirs for him, some cute little toys we bought from Toy Museum in Singapore. Hope he likes them! XD

After the boring class ended at 10am today, we spontaneously went Kota Damansara to cheung K! Pretty far, but the system there is good, touchscreen! Haha. Oh, Bing, Mian, Yen and I went Bulgogi BBQ for brunch before that, nice Korean cuisines! =)

The paintball game with my college mates has been postponed for several times, finally it is scheduled at next Tuesday 7am morning. Some of us have class at 11am, so after the game ends, we will be attending class with bruises most probably. Haha. Hope we will have fun! =)

Received invitation for a makan-makan party at tuition centre next Thursday night, still wondering wanna go or not. Hmmmmm...

Bestari Ria's Ms. Wang phoned me this afternoon! She said she misses me because I have not been there since I last worked there. About 2 and a half year already I guess. She invited me to the annual tadika concert on this Saturday, but I will be at Janda Baik site that time for 3 days 2 nights. Aikz! I gonna miss the cutie kids' performances again! Will find a time to visit them. I guess I will see a lot of new cute and innocent faces because those I knew by now should have moved on to primary school already. Gotta play with kids again! =)

Eat eat eat, that's my habit and also worries these few days. Incongruency! I have the strong urge to eat, to binge myself with food yet I don't want to get fat! How does that gonna work? Stressful!
I am having this unhealthy thought, which is skipping meals after I eat too much for the previous ones.
Gosh, sound like I am having some kind of eating disorder? Will turn good after all assignments had been hand in, no worries! HAHA!

Oh, just a brief update for last Saturday. Eager to go out no matter where, trapped by assignments for days is just too awful! Hence, around 12pm, after fetching Hei and Mei, we went Putrajaya aimlessly. Haha. I brought them to Botanic Garden which I had no clue what is that place. It's just another park, and I don't see any extra or special flowers and trees there. Disappointed. Found nothing to visit there, thus changed plan to Kuchai Taipei Walker to have lunch. We ate a lot there, which kept me full till we went for seafood in the evening. We shopped around the boutiques there after lunch. Rushed back home at 4pm, bathed, then Bie fetched us to Klang at 5.15pm. We reached upon 6pm, the first to be served at that restaurant. Haha. 4 of us ordered 5 dishes. We still managed to finish all leaving clean plates. The seafood there is really delicious with kinda lower price we could get in Serdang. Nice! =)

Took a walk in Klang Aeon Jusco before we headed to i-city. We lost in the Shah Alam city, wandering and tried to search the way back to highway. It was drizzling. We saw a big and gorgeous mosque halfway, so just stopped by the road and snapped a few photos in the rain. Hehe. After half an hour, we finally found our way to i-city. It was freaking jam at the junction to the place, as well as the entrance of i-city. Since it's raining, we decided not to go in. Again, we stopped by roadside, get down from car and took a few photos there. It was super windy and cold! So we headed home after that. There goes my day. =)

I am so desperate for Kak to come back!
I am looking forward to December too, because you will be back!

Here comes the final months for this semester, with one more experiment to run, and three group assignments to hand in (not yet started), and class test!
Stop teaching tuition in November, so I guess I will have more time to complete my assignments I hope.

Not to forget tomorrow I am having training for Janda Baik Program, which will be held on 12th to 14th November.
Oh ya, there is a class test on 15th November too!
Well, the problem now is that I could not think of any game that can play with kids, with a theme of BERDIKARI. I seriously blame my gene for lacking of creativity, I found this characteristic is especially important this semester somehow. Haha. Any way to improve it?

Both PSY 201 and 205's ERB forms and proposal had been submitted, PSY209 journals handed in. Today I would like to give myself a break, will only start work again tomorrow. A lot of reading and assignments to do, moreover mid-terms are just two weeks after.
Gosh, I hope I won't feel the stress again like the week which had just over. I had nightmares for few nights last week, both bizarre and reality types also frightening enough. Cried in the middle of night, woke up from dreams, and cried till fall asleep again. Feeling dizzy once after awhile, like some of my friends too.
We all had a hectic week, and we know we haven't get over it yet. Anyhow, this is only Year 2 first semester, so I tell myself I must cope well with it, so I know I can do better in the following semesters.

It was Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday, and as similar with Chinese New Year - lack of 'feel'. Cannot see much candles and tanglong at my neighbourhood anymore. My family just celebrated it through dinner, BBQ steamboat buffet. It's just like another normal family gathering, worse because many of them absent. Haha.
So I feel so so lucky that I played candles and tanglong last week with my beloved friends! At least I had fun and celebrated Mid-Autumn in a traditional way. Hehe.

Year 2 is obviously more hectic and heavy than Year 1!
I guess I haven't really prepare for it, yet I'm already now in second week of it. The course outlines were something I never really bother in Year 1, but now they are seriously my first source of stress.
Own-designed researches, reports, colloquium presentations, and the already been increased experiment participation hours!
After feeling tonnes of works are piling up on my whole semester, I lost all sense of getting bonus marks, or perhaps I will have to visit CPCS (Center For Psychological And Counselling Services) out of my own need rather than to gain the bonus marks?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Anyway, today morning me, Mei, Hei and Bie went to Klang for breakfast and a walk! Pretty awesome morning with them, I miss Xing and Kak! ='(
It was Mei's spontaneous idea last night, she wanted to have Bak Kut Teh for breakfast since she miss pork so much. Haha. So today 8am+ Bie drove us to Klang to search for Bak Kut Teh.
Why must be Klang?
It wasn't because Klang is famous for Bak Kut Teh, it's purely our 'wei-ness'. Can't help, we just like doing bizarre thing, who cares? Like they always said, do whatever you feel like doing when you're still young regardless of your image! Haha. I wonder are we still that young? Hehe.

So we called and woke some friends up to ask for direction and suggestion too. So sorry but we seriously blur that time. Hehe. After turning around from shops to housing area and back to shops, we finally decided to take Bie's friend's suggestion - Fei Kay (aeroplane) Bak Kut Teh! Frankly we think we can find tastier one in KL or even in Serdang. However the Bak Kut Teh was fair, not too bad though. What I really enjoyed was the chit-chat session, with laughter which I had been missing for a long time. I laughed a lot today, feel so tired. Haha. After our satisfying breakfast, we paid a visit to the Bukit Tinggi Aeon Jusco, the largest Aeon Jusco I had ever see. Haha. Shopped for two hours and we girls bought a T-shirt each, while Bie bought a shirt. Hei and Mei were directly and indirectly trying to influence and persuade me to skip class after that, a lot of funny things they had done. Haha. Unfortunately still I manage to get back for class, only that I was late for half hour. Dr. Goh started class late too today, so I was considered on time. Hehe. Sorry my jimuis, your mission failed! Haha.

Oh, Mei brought us crystal pendants from Kedah! They were all in apple's shape, only different in colour. I picked the blackish one. Thanks Mei! =)
It was very funny when I saw Hei had all the pink crystal in her hands, leaving others all inside the plastic. Pink crystal brings romance love. HAHA! She said she just wanted to pick the best among all the pinky pendants indeed, but I still laughed when I saw that. She restricted me for picking pink one initially, she said I already have love. Haha. Before back home, I expressed my urge to go to beach, and so I hope Mei will be really making something on soon! Hehe.
I love spontaneous trip! =)

Long-distance relationship couples in fact are happier than geographically together couples?
Suddenly evidences pop out in mind to prove what Dr. Goh said. I guess it was right. Distance makes heart grow fonder, at the same time, blurring the weaknesses you can see from your partner.
Idealize and perfectify, perhaps that's why it works too.
If possible, I would like to read the thesis from the mentioned student, or rather, research on it too. Haha. Bear with me my group mates, I won't suggest this topic for our researches this semester. Simply because we need snowballing to get long-distanced couples, that's not easy at all. Haha.

JieHui called me last week, I thought she had too much unused credit again. In fact, she called to ask me about my back. Yea, the fishball thingy that had been removed. Haha. Everytime I hear JieHui's special ringtone I will be very happy, although what we usually did was only updates and a little crapping. Hehe. I miss this old friend of mine!

It is kind of depressing when you find out you lose some abilities that you were used to get compliments for, or at least, helpful ability of yours.
Yea, since when I turned from a good listener to listener to speaker?
I need to learn to listen again, and stop being judgmental. Oh, I miss the days people used to find me when they were down. I remember they said my words were good comfort and I always gave wise advices.
Now what, I feel helpless when people is down. I do not attend to their feelings first anymore, instead I try to tackle the problems and search solutions for them. Yet I always failed, and feel like a failure for not getting them a way out.
Am I not wise anymore?
Or I'm just not that sensitive to others' feelings now?

Last night, Meimei's thoughtful boyfriend planned a surprise dinner for her, in conjunction with their 10th month celebration. He knew that Mei seldom get to meet up with her friends so he invited us to the dinner. HuiQi, Kelly, JettKyii, JiaMing, Michelle, Daniel and me attended the dinner at W.I.P. at Bangsar Shopping Complex.

Later WaiYee joined us, so we switched to DOME for a drink, and a everyone's birthdays session. Hehe. I was not really know what they were onto, so just joined for fun. It ended up a really funny session as usual. Haha. Laughter is always with us! =)

So the night ended before we manage to countdown for Merdeka Day, we forgot to bring little flags. Oops. In fact we were tired and some had their curfew, so we're back before 12am.
It was a special night for me. Special as in I had a kind of indescribable feeling inside, towards friendships and intimacy.
Unable to tell in words. A lot on mind.
Anyway, I still enjoyed the night, thanks Meimei and her boyfriend! =)

Joined 30-Hour Famine Camp again, this time at my own college, as volunteer. Totally different experience from last year, I could say that this year I had a more relaxing 30 hours. Haha. Although we need to be there at 6.30am, yet we had pretty much resting time when the games were off. As compared to the campers who needed to fully participate every session and games, as volunteers we're much more relaxing. The committees and emcees were the ones who really busy I guess. Good job everyone! =)

So after registered ourselves, changed into camp's T-shirt, we were briefed for the final time, then we went for our breakfast (last meal before we started to fast). I was so happy that volunteers got the black T-shirt as well, because the white T-shirt last year wasn't really nice. Well, I saw the camper's shirt at HELP were in better cutting and quality anyway. Hehe. We had Mc Donald's breakfast. I still in love with Milo! =)

Basically volunteers had a lot of time to rest or hang around, we only helped out in both the Famine Challenges. Can you imagine some of us still managed to take a nap? Hehe. Yea, I took a 20 mins nap as well, in air-cond theatre. Made many new friends, from different colleges, even high schools. Keep refilling water as nothing else is allowed to eat or drink. Some said the water from water dispenser taste sweet! I agreed with them indeed, wonder if the sponsor worried we might faint so added glucose in it? Haha!

Oh ya, it's Yaya's birthday! So we sang birthday song for her, and for Ah Mian whose birthday was a week ago, and gave them their presents. Hope they would love the bags! =)

The night sleeping on theatre's stage was super duper freezing cold! My friends woke up before alarm rang but I refused to get out from my sleeping bag, still so pig even was freezing. Hehe. The morning was fun, we were off duties, so just joined the campers. Marcus and Vin successfully made everyone fully awake by dancing, hot dance! Wow! Cameras were all non-stop capturing and recording, just like the post-famine FB fever now. Everyone is still excited! =)

Met Hei and WanJun at Bukit Jalil before headed to our seats. They were exhausting, as compared to me. The concert was better than last year I guess, yet I was really tired and dizzy the last few hours. The retractable seat in stadium did not allow me to sleep, really not comfortable enough. Luckily by the last hour before break fast, a sentimental letter read by Fish Leong kind of shaken me awake. I cried. The song she sang after that was sad enough to make me continue crying. Haha. I like that song actually.

The main ambassador this year finally appeared at 3.40pm. Nicholas Teo shared his experiences with us, then sang us two songs. It was past 4pm when he was singing the last song, we already had our V-Soy and bread with us, yet still need to wait for the countdown together. Haha. That was really torturing! Finally he finished the song and we countdown break fast, V-Soy is awesome! =)

Daddy fetched me home after that. Bathed and took an hour nap. At night we went for steamboat buffet at a newly open shop near my house, with grandma along. It was for brother's belated birthday actually. Was satisfied, especially I had two big bowls of vanilla ice-cream with chocolate rice! =)

There is a tumour, sized a small fish ball, on my back for about two years since I realized it. Yet it didn't affect much, not itchy not pain. Consulted a clinic doctor early this year while I was sick, and he said if it's not pain, I could just leave it. However, it started to pain whenever I touched it last week. Hence, I made an appointment with a specialist in hospital in the morning.

The doctor had nothing much to say, just cut it off, he said. The operation was done at noon the same day. Pretty soon, but sooner or later it gonna be, so I just accepted. I was only partly under anesthesia, so I could still feel pain and hearing those clinging sound of tools. Trying hard to divert my thinking to other place, but the pain brought me back every few seconds. Fortunately it ended in half hour time.

Basic daily routines become more difficult and time-consuming now. I only can sleep on sides or face down. Bathing takes me one hour time everyday, bathed till sweating everytime. Driving is tiring too. Need not to say, many food was not allowed for the sake of my wound. Perhaps Ai was right, all these turn me into a grumpy girl lately. Aikz!

Finally enrolled the subjects for my first semester of Year 2. Gotta be prepared for a new semester soon. Year 2 should be tougher, so hopefully I could be less procrastinate (I know it's impossible to be totally get rid of it). Results were out too, I know I should do better next semester but not convince myself that's average result anymore. All the best to me! =)

Mommy forgot to buy me lunch this afternoon, I was annoyed.
Daddy cooked both the dishes with prawns for dinner, he forgot I'm not allowed to eat seafood now, I was annoyed again.

Come to think for a while, how many times I had neglected others' needs?
Did I too make many unhappy?

I'm a patient now, but it does not mean I deserve more.
There're still a lot more for me to learn.

I'm not disabled, perhaps I should not complain that much. =)
